About adoption
It's important to note that each of our litters are planned to keep one puppy for our breeding program. This means that puppies are not selected until they are 8 weeks old. No choice can be made before then.

All our puppies are born and raised at home, in a family environment. They follow the Puppy Culture socialization program and a little Avidog. They also undergo a program of neurostimulation and olfactory stimulation in their first 13 days of life.

Between 7 and 8 weeks of age, they will have their behavior assessment based on the Avidog program. They will also undergo a conformation evaluation to select the right puppy for our breeding program. The puppies will then be selected according to the order in which they were reserved, while ensuring that the puppy is suitable for the family. It's important to note that at Kachina, having an optimal match between family and puppy is very important. We may therefore be able to guide you towards the more optimal choice for your family.

By the time they leave at around 10 weeks of age, puppies have become accustomed to car journeys and have met many people and dogs. They've been in contact with cats and rats. They've also started potty training, leash walking, commands, crate sleeping and much more.

Do you think the Siberian Husky is the right breed for you? Fill in the form below. If you're a good candidate, we'll contact you to discuss your requirements. A visit to the kennel will follow. This visit is non-binding, but will mainly serve to ensure that the family is suitable and that there is a compatibility between our visions/point of view, as well as to introduce you to our dogs in person. Finally, a reservation contract can be signed and you will be asked to pay a non-refundable administration fee of $500. This amount will be deducted from the final price.
